Ruler work on a baby quilt

I made a baby quilt last summer called Color Therapy and I'm doing ruler work on it today.  Since it will be washed often I'm only doing a simple design on it.  It's a quilt for a baby girl.  I made it when I first heard my daughter was pregnant, not knowing if it was a boy or girl yet.  Wouldn't you know, she had a boy!  So this one is being put in my hope chest when it's finished.

Color Therapy top is done

Now onto the long arm!  For those just arriving at my blog, this is the quilt I'm making for my first grandbaby, due December 4th.

I'm excited to be invited along to my daughter's first OB appointment.  And we plan on hitting a few garage sales to look for baby things.

Color Therapy

I've started the Color Therapy quilt as the first quilt for my coming grandchild.  The pattern is found in a book called Scrap Happy quilting.

Mother's Day surprise

What better news to get on Mother's Day than your daughter is pregnant with your first grandchild?

I went to the fabric store to buy fabric for the baby's first quilt. I'm making one quilt now and I'll make another one when we find out if it's a boy or a girl. She is due Dec. 4th. I'm so excited!

I'm working on this quilt now and have put Diamonds and Pearls on the back burner.
