I've taken a bit of time off from quilting to work outside, and am getting back to the sewing machine this weekend. It feels good! I'm working on my next quilt top, a quilt called Summer Duet from Fons and Porter. It's a present for a cousin in Arizona, I'm thinking of using a layer of flannel instead of batting since she lives in a hot area of the country.
I finished a table topper in January:
And here's a lap quilt, using 1850's textured reproduction fabrics.

So glad you're still blogging....I read this post a couple of weeks ago and should have commented sooner. It's been a hoot reading through your archives. Please post photos of your version of Summer Duet. I especially love your civil war projects.
