Hang your surge protector on the wall
I have used a surge protector for my iron for 10 years with little problems. Until last night. I had my surge protector lying on the floor next to the ironing board all that time. Last night it started flipping off repeatedly. I thought the surge protector was going bad so I ordered a new one. When I plugged in the iron I realized water was dripping down the electric cord into the surge protector! It wasn't going bad, it was doing it's job!
I hung the surge protector on the wall as a solution should this ever happen again. I ordered a new iron today! Will report on how well it does in a future post.

Sewing for the Quilt of Valor group
I'm stitching quilt tops for my Quilt of Valor group this week. There are about 20 women in our group and we sew quite a few tops each year. 3 of us are longarm quilters that finish the tops into quilts. Here's the one I'm working on today!

My first videos
I started a facebook group for owners of the King Quilter II longarm machine. There isn't much in the way of help for those of us learning how to use the monitor with all the different settings so I thought I'd make some videos to help with that.
